Uplifting: A Celebration of Women – Volume 3 Book Launch
On Friday 27th March 2026, we gathered for an unforgettable evening celebrating strength, resilience and the extraordinary stories of women as we officially launched Uplifting: A Celebration of Women – Volume 3.
Held in Sydney and hosted by Nina Milazzo, Co-Founder of the LeadHERship Network, the evening welcomed more than 120 women and their loved ones who came together to celebrate the women featured in the book and the powerful stories behind the photographs.
From the moment guests arrived at 6:00pm, the room quickly filled with excitement as cocktails flowed and canapés were served while guests connected, shared stories and admired the images from the project.
An Evening of Powerful Voices
The evening began with a warm welcome from Nina Milazzo, who introduced the purpose of the event and the impact the Uplifting Project continues to have on women and the wider community.
Photographer Murielle Sassine, the creator of the Uplifting Project, then shared the inspiration behind the book and the emotional journey of photographing the incredible women featured in Volume 3.
Guests were then deeply moved by heartfelt speeches from Angela Pace and Mel Demunk, who shared their personal experiences and perspectives. Their words reminded everyone in the room why projects like Uplifting matter and how they create connection, awareness and a space where women’s stories can be honoured.
Celebrating Community
One of the highlights of the evening was the Lucky Door Prize draw, which brought excitement and celebration to the room. Guests had the chance to win a variety of generous prizes donated by supporting businesses and partners.
Some of the wonderful prizes included:

• Bra fitting vouchersfrom Fitted by Candice
• Portrait photography vouchers from Vivid Photography & Imaging
• Luxury Kerastase hair packs from Salon Kingston
• Beautiful jewellery pieces from Destiny Jewellers, including a pearl bracelet and delicate necklace.
These generous contributions helped make the evening even more special and allowed guests to leave with something memorable from the night.
Books, Goodie Bags & Celebration
Guests who had pre-purchased the book were invited to collect their copies during the evening, with many taking the opportunity to have their books signed and celebrate the women featured within its pages.
Beautiful goodie bags filled with gifts and treats were also provided for guests, adding an extra touch of generosity to the night.
Throughout the evening, guests shared photos and moments across social media using the hashtag #upliftingwithvivid, helping spread the message and celebration far beyond the room.
More Than Just A Book
While Uplifting: A Celebration of Women is a beautiful publication, it represents something much deeper.
It is about giving women a voice.
It is about honouring resilience.
It is about celebrating stories that deserve to be seen and heard.
Most importantly, it is about community coming together to support one another.
Seeing the room filled with women supporting women was truly powerful, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and supported the project.
